Steel Faced Laminated Rubber Dock Bumpers have all the same features as the standard laminated rubber dock bumpers plus a 3/8” thick heavy-duty, high-carbon steel plate that is mounted on the face of the laminated bumper. This gives them the same ability to deflect and absorb shock with the added durability and protection from the steel face.

Steel-Faced Bumpers are very effective on docks that receive shipments from “air-ride” trailers that rub against the dock during the loading and unloading process as the truck moves up and down. They eliminate the wear that occurs from this associated “up and down” friction. This lower wear rate makes steel faced dock bumpers very cost effective.

Standard sizes are 5-1/4” to 12-3/4” thick in both horizontal and vertical styles. Gussets for lower loading docks and special sizes are also available. Metal surfaces on the bumpers are finished with black enamel.
